Beginning in 2002, I collaborated with live musical performance in an effort to explore the relationship between the artists and the audience. I was fortunate enough to travel the United States with the bands Troubled Hubble and The Gunshy, executing an entire piece on stage during their concerts over a period of seven years. The resulting work played with the parallels between the temporality of still life and the fleeting experience of live performance.
